Common questions
A gathering held once a year for the people behind Kerala coffee. Growers, roasters and cuppers meet around traceable lots — every coffee on the table linked to its estate, its elevation and the person who processed it, with that person present to answer for it.
Coffee growers of any size, roasters, baristas, buyers, and anyone in or curious about specialty coffee. You do not need to work in the industry to attend.
Message us on WhatsApp at +91 98475 99828 or email keralaoriginscoffee@gmail.com. Seats are limited, and we reply with the details.
[Add the fee, or say entry is free, here.]
Yes — that is a core part of what we do, and the size of your farm is not a barrier. We work alongside growers on guidance, consulting, processing, roasting and sampling, from harvest through to the cup. Write to us and tell us about your plot.
Chiefly Wayanad, Idukki and Palakkad, grown under shade in the Western Ghats between roughly 700 and 1,600 metres. You can follow the whole journey on the cherry to cup page.
[Confirm whether growers may submit lots for Edition 02, and any deadline.]
Yes. We connect roasters and green-coffee buyers directly with growers on our producer record — arabica and robusta, washed, natural, honey or anaerobic, with the farm and processor named. Email us with the volumes and profiles you need.
Mostly robusta, with arabica at higher elevations in Idukki and Palakkad, and small plantings of excelsa and liberica. All of it is shade-grown in the Western Ghats.
Roughly 700 to 1,600 metres, with the highest farms in Idukki.
November to March. Arabica ripens first, robusta follows, and drying continues on raised beds into the dry season.
Edition 01 was held on 21 July 2026 at Sukuru Speciality Coffee in Calicut. Photographs and details are in our story.
